Originally from Florida, I received my B.S. and M.S. from Florida State University. I then moved to Shanghai and earned a Ph.D. at East China Normal University (华东师范大学). Currently, I am an Associate Professor of Economics at Wenzhou Business College (温州商学院), specializing in political economy.
My research focuses on economic development, particularly the middle-income trap, which I explored extensively in my doctoral dissertation. My work has been featured in numerous academic journals and popular press outlets, including the South China Morning Post. I bring over six years of teaching experience, during which I have cultivated effective teaching techniques and a strong commitment to education. My proficiency in both English and Chinese enhances my ability to engage with a diverse student body and contribute to academic discourse.
